Game Day

Secure your Game Day class excursion

4 hr 45 minThe Huddle @ Arden Street

Service Description

Game Day is an immersive AFL-themed STEM excurison designed to engage and empower students in Levels 5 and 6, to build upon their strengths and plan for their future. Throughout the day, students will work in teams to complete STEM challenges to power up the ‘Shinboners’ (AFL and AFLW Kangaroo players) to help defeat the ‘Specky Bots’. The Specky Bots are a formidable and diverse group of players that represent a broad cross-section of our communities. Statistics will show they’re bigger, stronger and faster than their opponents. Students will work together in small teams to solve problems, demonstrate resilience and learn how to win. Cutting-edge technology is used to create an atmosphere where students feel like they are part of the game.

Cancellation Policy

To ensure our programs remain engaging and relevant to young people, we seek to survey students for feedback and improvements. We will ask you to provide a class list of the students attending, including their first and last names and will ask students to respond to survey questions relating to their experience of Game Day. Please ensure as part of the excursion consent process you have obtained consent from parents. If a parent does not consent to providing their child’s name as part of the excursion, please contact us at education@thehuddle.org.au to discuss further.
