Firefly Night Market

Astrid Blackburn

9 July 2026

From glowing installations and roving performers to live music, cultural celebrations and community connections, Firefly Night Market was a magical winter evening for everyone.

On Saturday June 27, the Roo Squad team braved the chilly winter weather and attended the annual Firefly Night Market in Tarneit.

The joint Roo Squad and Werribee Football Club stall was one of more than 70 market stalls to activate on the night. The event was a great opportunity to connect and chat with local families and community groups.

Plus, the team were pleased to sign up many new members to a free Roo Squad membership. Roo Squad is a kids’ membership that provides access to four home matches at Marvel Stadium each season, plus match day activations, special merchandise and much more.

The evening was a tremendous success, and we can’t wait to be part of it again next year.
