North Melbourne’s Charlie Comben has been named the winner, recognised for his outstanding contribution to the community.

Comben received the award at the club’s Syd Barker Medal night on Wednesday, September 30, celebrating his commitment to using his time, profile and influence to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

He has demonstrated a strong commitment to giving back, supporting the Royal Children’s Hospital and Good Friday Appeal, and volunteering through The Huddle to connect with young people through sport and education.

Comben has also used his voice to contribute to important conversations on social and environmental issues, reflecting his commitment to creating positive change both on and off the field.

Through his actions, Comben embodies the spirit of the Peter Scanlon Community Award and reinforces North Melbourne’s commitment to being Champions off the Field.
